Socially Responsible Employer Certificate

On 11 January 2022, Odvetniki Šelih & partnerji were awarded the accession Socially Responsible Employer Certificate in the areas of organisational management and work-life balance. The award ceremony was held on 16 May at Ljubljana Castle and was attended by partner Nina Šelih and partner Darja Miklavčič. The Socially Responsible Employer Certificate is based on the guidelines of the international standard for social responsibility ISO 26000. Its aim and objective is to improve socially responsible behaviour in organisations and companies in relation to their employees.

We are committed to creating a work environment where our colleagues feel comfortable, maintain a work-life balance and are motivated to pursue regular education and training. Furthermore, we are comitted to taking care of our colleagues’ health and protecting the environment.

Being awarded the accession Socially Responsible Employer Certificate has confirmed our commitment, which we intend to persue further by promoting energy saving, economical use of paper and environmentally friendly transport choices. In the area of organisational management and work-life balance, there are still opportunities for improvement, which we will certainly find and implement together with our colleagues.

The project holder of the Socially Responsible Employer Certificate is Ekvilib Institute in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the Association of Employers of Slovenia, the Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia and experts in individual subject areas of the certificate. The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund and is implemented through the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities as the tender contractor.
