Amendment of provisional measures with respect to judicial affairs
On the basis of Article 4 of the Act on Provisional Measures with Respect to Judicial, Administrative and Other Public-Law Affairs for the Control of the Spread of the Contagious Disease SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) (ZZUSUDJZ), on 8 April 2020, the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia published an Order on amendment of the Order on special measures as of 30 March 2020 (“Amendment”).
Pursuant to the Amendment, matters concerning temporarily seizure of driver’s license or seizure of a motor vehicle under the Minor Offences Act are from 10 April 2020 onwards again classified as urgent. Thus, Slovenian courts again hold hearings and decide in these matters.
In all other parts, the Order on special measures as of 30 March 2020 is unchanged and remains valid, as covered in our post of 7 April 2020.
